Best place to buy spyder caps? 5x4.75
Hey anyone know where the best place to buy Spyder Center caps in a 5x4.75 lug pattern is? Best I've found so far is $160 a set and that's just crazy to me for some plastic that's chrome... anyone know of a better source or selling some used ones? Just want the center caps with the 5 lug caps (one piece)

I may have to look into those... I just wonder if the center bore is right since they aren't cragar wheels they are going on... but yeah you're right those caps with chrome lugs would pull off the look...

As luck would have it i was researching the exact same thing tonight for a hair-brained idea that popped into my head...if your concerned about fit just measure the diameter of your wheel and type in "bullet center cap" on any parts site and pick the one that works.

Re: Best place to buy spyder caps? 5x4.75
37.44 each adds up to 149.76 which isn't cheap for a set of reproductions of something that cost less than 15.00 a set in the mid 60's. They ran right at the same price as a set of Baby moons then.
56.60 for what Chris showed in post 2 sounds pretty interesting though. You can't find much for 14.15 a wheel to dress them up.

Back to the question that was asked... User Error, Jegs and Summit are close in price. Haven't found any place that sells them for any less. I like dealing with Summit, so that's why i suggested them. Great customer service. Jegs has them listed as chrome plated steel, and Summit has them listed as polished aluminum. |
