Seat swap seat belts?
Getting ready to try out the recovered burb seats I got a couple years ago. But since my truck came with the bench seat, what do I do about the seatbelts? Something tells me that the bench seat belts won't work well with burb seats.
What new seat belt parts do I need to buy? Next question. Is there anywhere that sells the conversion mounting brackets to adapt the burb seat racks to the truck floor? |

Re: Seat swap seat belts?
Grab a set of Burb seat belts with the buckle for the floor..
You need the inside front mount from the floor of the Burb. Drill the rear inside hole. The outside holes line up already. The two rear brackets need to be bent to follow the contour of the floor.(big hammer worked for me) |

Re: Seat swap seat belts?
When you say "inside front mount", are you referring to something for the seatbelts, or for the mounting of the seat tracks? I already have that all taken care of, except for the brackets for the front of the seat tracks. I need somewhere to buy those. I've seen them for sale somewhere but I just can't remember where it was and for some reason I forgot to bookmark it.
So all I really need is just the inner burb seatbelt hardware? The stuff that would be near the center console in a burb. I'm assuming the factory truck seatbelt hardware that is close to the doors is reusable. I suppose I could scavenge the inner seatbelt stuff from the local junkyard.
