Custom emblem opinions
I was thinking of having a friend CNC a piece of billet for a glovebox door emblem saying 68short-wide in the original looking font. Wondered if this had been done before. Also your opinions on it.

I would do a drawing of it and temporarily stick it on the door and see how it looks. If you do, post up a pic of it.... LockDoc

Re: Custom emblem opinions
Pretty much everything has been done before.
Nonetheless - sounds cool. x2 on the pics if you decide to follow through. K

Re: Custom emblem opinions
I'm still amazed that no one has done a "K 10" fender emblem yet
I know it was never done (in our series) from the factory, but I think it would be really cool to do one. |

Re: Custom emblem opinions
Lol thought about that too, I can't remember what 6.0 to ci is offhand 364ish? Anyway yeah if I build a k10 after this id leave all the trim, emblems, etc on and just make subtle changes to the emblems. Ie 8|364 or something along with what Brian and Matt said, k10 badges and kst/10 stuff like that. I need a job! XD I've saved enough to get a decent way into the short wide build but between 4/6 kit, ls swap and wheels and tires its runnin out

Re: Custom emblem opinions
After shipping and everything I'd think it'd just be cheaper to take it to a local machine shop and show em what you want and have them do it. So many ideas for trucks, not near enough money, time or room.

Re: Custom emblem opinions
Yeah I am doing that in fact the drawings are done. I gave them the approval on Friday but they are still weary and I can tell they don't really want to do it. But it makes me wonder what a 3D printer could do?

Re: Custom emblem opinions
I'd wonder about the durability and paint/chrome issues
