drop pitman arm?

Running a pancaked xmember wondering if a dropped pitman arm would delete the of cutting the frame for the steering linkage?

No the cutting of the frame is to keep the steering at the correct height so that the tie rods are not running up hill at a huge angle and the cross member does not hit the draglink. Steering box needs to come up also.
