Can You Make a Prediction?
If you were going to upgrade your front suspension components, what year(s) do you predict parts will remain available for and stay very reasonable price wise over time?
. Most just upgrade to 73-87, but what about 72? Will the 63-72 parts remain available longer because of the 'classic' status these have, or will the 73-87 parts remain available longer even though those may not be considered as 'classic' ?

Re: Can You Make a Prediction?
I'm sure that 73-87 will be the winner....there a BOAT loads of those around...I see tons of them in the tiny town I live. Parts will remain for those years for a heck of a long time I'm sure....but....I could be wrong.

Re: Can You Make a Prediction?
I agree. Parts for drum brake trucks will eventually cost more and be harder to find because they haven't been used in production for decades. Same problem like ball bearings in the front wheels. Limited demand causes prices to skyrocket because of short production runs.

Re: Can You Make a Prediction?
I agree with the above....73-87 will probably remain longer. Seem to be better quality since there is more demand. 60-62 and a lot of the 3/4 ton suspension parts already reflect this.
