Sway bar clamps

Hi Guys, i dont post to often but i do read the great info. anyway, i have a 1 inch sway bar on my 70 gmc. i got this bar at the wrecking yard with all the parts. im not overly impressed with the 1 inch bar. so i found a 1.25 bar the other day. the bar is nice and i got it for 18.00 bucks. the problem is, only 2 of the clamps were good. my question is will the clamps from my 1 inch work with the 1.25 ? the 1 inchers look like they might be .125 shorter than the 1.25 clamps. thanks for any info.
