Soft ride but good cornering shocks for lowered truck ?

Bought a truck about a week ago. It's got some yellow shocks that were spray painted partially on the front in a black color and the rear shocks look to be a no name black shock , I'm assuming maybe the rears came with the CPP 603-5 springs that are in the rear ? Previous owner didn't know anything about the truck so now I'm having to research it. Are there any shocks that would allow for a smooth cadillac/Lincoln ride for highway and road driving but are valved also for somewhat decent cornering in turns in terms of body roll ? The center of bolt to center of bolt with the truck sitting by itself on the ground is 13 in the front and either 13 or 13.5" in the rear

Thanks

The body roll is going to be controlled more by the sway bar and spring package than the shocks. I have the cpp springs in my truck and they dont ride bad. Does your truck have a front or rear sway bar?

Now that I think about it , it had neither front nor rear sway bar

Time to ad the front one and see how it does. I am willing to bet it does a lot better with one on it.

Any recommendations for one ? I know the rear has 5 inch drop springs so I'm assuming front has a 4-5 in drop

My 66 has the stock one in it and the 65 has the one out of the 83 donor the suspension came from. I would roll up under it and look to see if it has the brackets still under it and if so see f you can find a 73 to 87 in the local junk yards and snag it.
