I'm looking to buy a 4x4 for winter
I came across an 04 SWB V6 auto. It has 150k miles, the A/C works great and the tires are pretty good, body is good. The only thing I found oddly out of place is the cables on the tailgate are more rusty than you would think.
Like anybody else, I don't want to pay any more than I have to......so what's it worth?

Re: I'm looking to buy a 4x4 for winter
Not sure what it's worth just wanted to comment that I have two V6's, both are regular cab long boxes, one an 05 and the other an 06. I like them both a lot. They were both cheap too, I think a lot of people are scared off by the V6. I think I paid $5,000 for the 05 which is a 2wd, and $6,000 for the 06 which is a 4wd. I think I bought the 05 in 2012 and the 06 in 2013.

around town or empty on the highway will be fine. Just don't expect it to be a power house pulling a trailer
Being a 4.3 I'm assuming it's a floor shifted transfer case. Good call, not much to go bad there. I wouldn't worry about the cables. With extra use the coating will crack. Replacements are cheap and easy to do

Re: I'm looking to buy a 4x4 for winter
I am selling [sold already] A 07 swb 6 cyl plain 4x4 auto white and tan int with 117,miles for $7500. But it is to a regular customer and this truck is one of the cleanest I have had in a few months. They are getting higher it seems weekly. We have had two towns in AR destroyed by tornadoes this summer and that makes the trucks go higher. I saw a Avalanche wrecked sell for more money than I sold a similar one for in Jan.
