Glove box lights
Hi picked one up at my local yard. However, when I close the door, the light stays lit. Has anyone experienced this and have any fixes?

The button is not being in far enough. To check open glove box and push button with finger. If it goes out adjust door to close tighter. If not the light is grounded somewhere.

Cut a small piece of plastic, hard rubber etc. and glue it to the spot that the button touches on the door to take up the slack.

The striker on the dash that your glove box latches to needs adjusted.
Loosen the 2 philips headed screws, and push the striker forward. (to the front of the truck. Tighten it back down and see what happens. You may need to find a happy middle ground between where it is, and all the way forward. |
