How to roll fenders
Hey All,
I have a 72 c10 stepside. I am wanting some more info about rolling the stepside fenders or if somebody can point me to another thread that has the info, im sure this is not the first time ths has come about. The problem i am haveing is that my tires are a bit too wide and i have air bags in the rear that let the rear end way down as i have a small C notch to get a low look. My questions is: Is there a way to roll the rear fenders on the inside, where that lip is, without comprimising the look of the fender as a whole? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, E |

Re: How to roll fenders
Baseball bat!!
Or a wooden dowel!! Stick it on the front edge of the tire and move the truck slowly and the bat will roll the edge for you. |

Re: How to roll fenders
I thought geezer was just being funny, but if you google it, that's what all the tuner kids do. seems easy enough

Re: How to roll fenders
Before I took mine to be painted I had the fenders off the truck and rolled them them
But I like the bat idea if I had a nice paint job and then wanted to roll them. I would use a second person to help though and go slow...

Re: How to roll fenders
Kinda glad this thread popped up. I was looking at buying that Eastwood roller but now I may try a bat first.

Re: How to roll fenders
Louisville Slugger. I learned the baseball bat trick as a teenager and have done it more times than I can remember. Some people cringe at the thought but it works great, 2 people is highly recommended.
This is not a tuner kid thing as I learned this before there were tuners, much less the kids that drive them. |
