Re: 1950 Builder
Here are more pics. One is before I made the mistake of taking it apart and doing a full restoration. I should have just gotten a whole new truck and did it over instead of stripping it down. I did get rid of the standard cab and went with a 5 window. A few mods are...
Boxed and powder coated frame All chrome or gold plated undercarriage including driveshaft and rear end. pinstriped and gold leafed frame for now anodizing straight six with triple carb set up. (Only running the center and have two dummy carbs Fenton headers much more but cant remember. Remember this has been almost 15 years that I started this project and I had her since high school so I did most of the work myself and now I am a couple of months away from finishing. |

Re: 1950 Builder
I need help on making brackets or placement of air bags since I never looked into it. If anyone can help it would be great. Remember I already boxed and powder coated the frame so I cant weld anymore.
Thanks |

Re: 1950 Builder
Awesome chrome Fenton! There are quite a few builds on here using bags. May want to tell or show what you are currently running so those that have done it can comment. Bolt on maybe your only choice for installation.

Re: 1950 Builder
Thank You Farmer Sid your right.
I have leaves all around I never thought I would upgrade but I might later on. I am running about two leaves to lower the truck but it seems like I might have to upgrade to a dropped axle later on instead. For now I just want to drive my baby then move on to upgrading later. Like I said I have an issue on where to put the bags in the front I think I just figured out the back now but the front will be tricky with the boxed frame now. If there are any pics out there that have bags and leaves in the front please post.. Thank You |
