about to place an order

about to order all brake stuff for my rear(drums,shoes,wheel cylinders,parking brake cables,hardware...) would it be better to go with local parts store or ordering from rockauto or something like that.. anybody have good experience with certain supplier,any advice greatly appreciated.

Personally, I'd chose my local store..
If you have a privately owned store instead of a National Chain, I'd select that and develop a friendship with them.

Local, for sure. You will be able to select the grade of parts you want, and return things quickly when you find something incorrect in a box.

I've had good results both ways. Normally I get routine maintenance parts from Napa, because the regional distribution warehouse is close to my home and they almost always have everything in inventory.

When I did my 4 speed swap however, I bought almost everything online and saved a ton of money. Some of the parts came from Summit, some from Jegs, and other parts from RockAuto. I'm pretty sure everything could be identified by manufacturer, and after that I decided where to buy based on price.

For something like brake parts, I'd be inclined to buy local at a store that offers a lifetime warranty. I keep my vehicles long enough to wear stuff out, and being able to obtain free replacements locally can be a lot easier.
