wheel and tire pics!!!

I'm looking suggestions on best places to look for wheels and tires for my 66. converted to disc brakes so factory wheels are going away. I have 6x5.5 pattern. I like the vintage and rally look. I'm thinking 17x8. Would love to see some pics of different sizes and styles. Thanks for the help!!!

Dougf, thank for the link! Obviously I'm new to this so I have more questions… Any suggestions on good online shopping for wheels?

Stunning!

What was needed to get them to fit?

Re: wheel and tire pics!!!

If you're staying with the 6x 5.5" lug pattern the best bet is either a corvette style rally or some type of smoothie wheels, both with hub caps. I love the torque thrust look wheels in 5 lug but I don't like the 6 lug version. I wish the 6 lug truck rallies were available in 17". That would be too cool.

Those type of wheels look awesome! Then again I'm a little biased, and I went for big wheels...

Thanks man. I came up with the same measurement. Seems difficult to find BS for our trucks around here for 9-10" wide wheels. I'm guessing if it's not a custom BS wheel they are using spacers.

Re: wheel and tire pics!!!

I was up in Reno this weekend ( big bowling event ), and I went by summit racing and I saw these wheels and liked them more then the others. They acually look better in person. I would probably paint the centers a darker gray but that was about it.
