Glove box won't latch

Am i missing something here. Seems that my glovebox is mounted wrong or something. The latch is not high enough to catch.

Re: Glove box won't latch

the cardboard liner gets sandwiched under the door. that should raise it up enough..

Did you add the locking latch or has it always been on there? How about a picture of the back of the lock.

Question Re: Glove box won't latch

The part on the dash can be adjusted also a little. Take the screws loose and let it drop down as far as it can. The cardboard insert should be between the glove box door and dash as mentioned.
You picture is missing the side bar also that stops the door when you open it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Glove box won't latch

I'll order the glove box liner and get a pic of the lock. I had three doors and the painter lost the one that went to this cab so this one is now of my spares

Re: Glove box won't latch

Vintage air uses its own plastic formed glove box.
