I needed the deluxe seat for another 63 seat. The little brown mud dobber nests on the seat back will come off with no issue. Seat foam, springs and burlap are cherry!!! Still retains some of the plastic covering on the back bottom of the seat....no build sheet, already looked as I was going to leave it for the guy picking up the cab.
So are the '66 seat cover fabrics and patterns the same as the '65? What about the dimensions of the foam, etc? I have a line on what I think is a deluxe seat, but have not seen it in person, and won't for a few weeks. The guy who is selling really doesn't know what year it was from. I just want to know as much as I can before I look at it. I have the non-deluxe seat in my C20 and it is not really very comfortable. The foam may be old and deteriorated, so that might be it. But it needs to be reupholstered, anyway, so why not upgrade to the deluxe?Especially due to the fact that he only wants $60.

The seat cover designs changed every year, with the exception of 1965, which stayed the same as 1964. So, 1966 is a one year seat cover. I don't think seat structure or foam changed much for those three years, so the dimensions are likely the same.
