How much drop?

Sorry for the low quality Iphone pics. I've been wanting to lower my truck for a few years now and think I'm finally about to pull the trigger. I dont want it slammed, just slightly lower. I was thinking of going with a 2/4 but I still have the original springs in the truck so I'm not sure that would even make a difference. Does my truck look like it has any spring sag? Fenders currently measure roughly 30'' front, 33'' rear from the ground. Think I need to go with a little bigger drop to actually get lower?

I went 2/3 and really liking it. I was the same, wanted it lower but not slamed. Really simple to install too, just springs and shocks. Took about 3 hours total. (less if you exclude beer and BS time)

That picture is exactly what I was looking for. A slight drop but still using 15's and white letters. Thanks! And thanks for including the beer and bs time, im sure ill spend time doing both, lol.

this is a 2 1/2 " drop spindle with old coils and 4" drop coils in the rear

If you want a slight rake forward use the 2/3, if you want it more level 2/4.

...interesting thread so far.
Without hijacking....any info on the kit/parts cost for a 2/3 drop?
Any catch points? or any drastic or noticeable changes in towing, handling or load capacity?
(exhaust impact? suspension or sway bar mods?)
Great looking trucks guys?
The backstory on the other questions above is I might consider this over the next year for a bit of change-up myself but I will not cut up the truck, the frame or any of my original equipment springs, etc to accomplish the lowering.

I got all my parts off Summit for around $350. I did some digging and thats about what your going to pay for a kit just about anywhere. No modifications/cutting done to parts or truck, and the shocks came with all the hardware for mounting. Just had to clean and reuse the rear spring bolts. The front springs are just sandwiched in and come right out, tho I would recoment compressing the springs befor taking the ball joint apart. (my pickle fork just about shot out of my hand when the joint came loose. ) The new shocks greatly inproved my ride quality, but I think the ones I took off were the factory origonals. So far no downside. Putting in an exhaust this weekend, I'll update if I run into any problems there.

4.5/6 spindles springs blocks...rides great. Taller tires on 15s = better front ground clearance.

2/3 drop is about $350. I noticed a better handling in curves. No differance in towing was noticed.

Thanks for all the input guys. As was mentioned above, I dont want to have to notch or modify the original frame. I think I'm going with the 2/3 setup. Ill post pics when I have time to order parts and get it done! Do any of yall happen to know what the ground to center of wheel well measurements on yalls trucks are?
