What's needed for front disc brake conversion?
Hey guys... I have a 68' with front drum brakes and want to convert to disc brakes, what are the parts needed to do a successful conversion? I essentially want to lower it so will be going with a lowering spindle I assume? I'm looking to buy the parts pice by piece until I have all the necessary parts. Thanks!

The short version of the link I wrote:
BUY drop spindle for the year of truck you are working on! EVERYTHING must match the year of spindles you buy. In the OP's case,... buy 63-70 conversion spindles for your 1968 truck. This will make your life so much easier. Most source a 71-72 M/C and proportioning valve. Personally,... I like to use and aftermarket aluminum M/C and prop valve from a quality company like Wilwood. You will need to fabricate a few new steel brake lines. I also like using the conversion rubber brake hoses from ECE. Or just give www.earlyclassic.com a call for everything.
