Cool! Thanks for the response. My parts came in this afternoon and I planning on tearing into this tomorrow after work!

Re: 1999 S10 orifice tube location?
Sometimes the orifice tube was placed farther away from the evap. To many customer complains about hearing a hiss after shutting off the vehicle.
So, sometimes the bulged orifice tube holder at the evap is empty and the is a second tube holder close to the condenser.

Re: 1999 S10 orifice tube location?
I checked the line at the condenser and its not in there.. I have not taken the fitting loose at the evap.
Another thing came up.. The switch on the back of the comp. The reman comp didn't come with one, it just had a plug in the hole. This is the part in question. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/f...ressor+switch# What does this switch do and is it needed? Also! Something else I didn't plan for. I have to replace the lines that attach to the comp. When I took the bolt loose, it was cracked at the manifold. Yeehaw!!

Re: 1999 S10 orifice tube location?
It was where JJ said.. I was able to get that job done today.. That orifice tube was completely jammed up with crap. No wonder the system didn't work.
Thanks again for the help guys!
