Re: Sad day for me
Honestly I'd say you did pretty darn well. I'm not judging your truck by any means, but holes for speakers in the doors and things like that usually hurt prices of "average" trucks. Yours seems to have pulled a very fair market value. Usually GMC'S are shunned a bit as well compared to the more favorable Chevrolet grills (that's a subjective comment based on MY observations, not the majority). I think you did quite well. What are you looking for next?

Re: Sad day for me
I'd be thrilled to get even close to that number for my truck. I've been seeing fully restored trucks on Mecum getting around that number. You did good.

Re: Sad day for me
You did real good! And a lot better than it would have done on eBay I suspect

Re: Sad day for me
yep, you did very well. Miss it for a day or two, reminisce about the "one you let go" and move on to the next project with the dough you made. That's what I do! It was a gorgeous truck, btw, and you got a very fair price, I think you should be happy after the sad wears off.

Re: Sad day for me
Nice truck I know how you feel I sold mine and just saw it for sale again in Florida at Humpty dumpty classics..... but they supposedly painted it added a billet grill and bed liner.

Re: Sad day for me
How did you market this truck? Craigslist? ebay? or something else? Which method led to your buyer?
