New Project Update - Su

I got a little motivated by my friends Sunday. We mocked the motor/trans up so I won't have an excuse for not running the rest of the fuel lines. Now I just gotta get some more money!

Yeah what is that? It's offet to the side like older stuff like M21 and Saginaws. I thought the 6 was a top loader. Gt me some back of blog of back of bell housing measurments to the shifter pivot. I want to see if that would fit my 70 LeMans thought existing hole on the consol.

Hay what ever happend with that 80's C20 you had with no motor?

FINALLY! You know I can't stand people that have a garage full of projects, and never work on them...

That looks good buddy. Now it's time to get that thing together. Get the frame finished, and the rest will start coming together.

Anything new on the Jimmy?

It is a Doug Nash (Richmond) 5 speed. The dimension from the front of the trans case to the CL of the shifter should be 20". I did discover that I have to move the crossmember back on the truck from where the Muncie was mounted.

I still have the C20 and it still needs a home.

Thanks for the compliments guys. My best friend came over and motivated me. Keep in mind that it is just "mocked up". I still have to pull it back out and put the clutch assem on.

Well atleast I tried not to hit the kidney.

While I have your attention you think you’d have time to do a sectioned crossmember for me? It’d be in about 2-3 months.

Yes, I never got a email from you, but the answer is yes. What height do you want out of it and do you want it finished?

Sorry I've been busy with moving lately.

I'd like it to have you do it but truthfully I'd rather just get some pointers from you if you don't mind.

You still have it huh. Hmmmmmm It had a good tranny in it and good clip didn't it?

Hmmmmmmm I found something I'm interested in and that has most of the parts I need and then some. Just need to get this past the wife. You got a titel on that so I can dispose of the remains when I'm done?

Yep, still have it. And I have the clear title for it. It has a TH400 in it, and I drove it before I pulled the motor.
The clip is in pretty good shape. Here is the pic of the bad spot, but I have a complete '86 clip I need to sell also.
This is the only pic of the front clip that had problems that I can remember. I can check it again.

Cool that's the major parts I need. Might even be interested in the other clip. Actullly a clip and tranny are the big Items I need but I wouldn't mind that 3/4 suspension for what I'm looking at putting together. Need a beeter that gets MPG. Found a Deisel truck I'm interested that has been wrecked.

Now the tought part...the wife LOL. Winter isn't helping either.
