custom internal glovebox configuration picture request

so i'm about to upgrade my analog MSD 6AL to the newer digital 6AL, and the previous owners mounted the box to the underside of the cardboard of the glove box. when I switch over to the new digital box with the weather-pack connection, my thought was to fiberglass the cardboard, or create a reproduction out of aluminum, and then mount the MSD box on its isolation stands on the inside, along with maybe 2-3 gauges facing towards the driver. that way with the door closed it looks stock but with the door opened downward you have all the performance stuff showing such as LED voltage, AF ratio and probably trans temp gauges). has anyone else on here done something similar or have pictures of similar from our year trucks?

thanks

Re: custom internal glovebox configuration picture request

That's a cool idea. However you might want to consider that the cardboard part of the glovebox needs to flex to pop into the space behind the glovebox door. So a sheetmetal glove box compartment may need to be assembled in place or designed with some flex capability, like hinges or something.
