would I have to tub out my 1972,

I have a line on a set of 20x12inch rims so my question is dose that wide of a rim require a mini tub or can I run them on stock? The tires on them are 31x16 20 but that dosnt have to stay that way I am more consirned with the rims fitting.

Re: would I have to tub out my 1972,

This is actuley what the guy has.
Fronts: 20x8.5 with a 18mm offset. Front tires are General Exclaim UHP 245/40 20 with only 8,000 on them
Rears: 20x12 with a 6” offset. Rear tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 31x16 20. Some tread left but not that much.

I don't care about tires I will get new ones but with the rims fit?

I don't think that rim will fit. I'm sure others will chime in but with it being centered that is a lot to the outside. Could not find that tire to look at the section width.

I am not concerned with the tire size because I'm going to put other tires on the rims. Just want yo know if runs will fit and with what tire

Re: would I have to tub out my 1972,

The 12" wheel will not work in a stock tub, and would require them to be widened. Also, with that backspace, it would require the rear end to be narrowed.
