Wanting to find out the date of production
I see you guys on here figuring out the dates of engine and truck production. I'm very curious to know the date my truck was built. Can somebody decode it for me or teach me how?
My truck is a 1965 built in St. Louis 127357 is the production number of the VIN the number on my manifold is 3840906 Thank you for the help!!

The # 3840906 I think should be 3840905 if that's the intake manifold. It was used on a 283 64-65

Date codes on the engine will get you close to production date if its original. The production/serial # info I don't think are available until 66.
