Re: Who all has a 67 GMC truck

Tim, I love the 67 GMC's and the 4x4's. I'm trying to get all of my parts together now for a resto of that truck. I like driving it like it is. It just needs power steering with the v-6.

It is not to many of them left, glad to see all of the 67's being saved.

Glad to see a pic of your truck Jud. I think our trucks are like 25 or 30 trucks apart on the vin #. They may have been built the same day.

Re: Who all has a 67 GMC truck

Hey 72GMCK! Sorry for the late reply. Yeah she is a 3/4 ton, 4 speed 305V-6. Pretty solid original truck that I received when my Uncle passed away. His plans were to hot rod it a little so I am doing it in his memory. Proving to be pretty tough though with 40 plus years of road grime and surface rust to deal with underneath. This truck was certainly used as a truck, unlike many trucks we see on the road these days!!! lol!

Re: Who all has a 67 GMC truck

i picked one up this summer its a 67 3500 dually thats been frankenstiened by the PO has a 68 chevy hood and doors 68 gmc grille home made mad max front bumper and a lift gate rear with a 12 ft box on a standard LB frame I've already cut off the lift gate it was so heavy the rear helper perches are half gone and have a knife edge and found the flat bed came off a 76 ford f-600 it still has the original 305e v6 and sm460 tranny with dual rears
my plans are to get rid of the flat bed replace it with a fleetside bed try and get the nose to being the right one and pull the v6 and drop in one of bbc with a 4l80e tranny and make it my daily driver slash work truck
