Re: factory green and brown two tone trucks

Well, the only thing I could find, and I was digging some more was either the darker green like on that crew cab or the blazer with the wood grain or a lighter green with woodgrain like un this suburban.
I doubt they ever painted the center brown metallic... Sure that is what I´d be most interested in, however the light or dark green with the wood grain would at least give me an idea of what it looks like in real, not in a catalogue.

Thanks for the blazer pic, that is what the crew cab has I believe....

Suburban, light green/brown:

I see. Everything I could find with the brown center was woodgrain too...

is that the dropped one with the top and bottom in these colors? I´ve seen that one I believe, but I´m looking for the 73-80 with the center stripe...

Thanks for the pic, that gives me an idea of what a darker green looks like with the brown. You don´t happen to have a side view shot and 3/4 front and back view?

Re: factory green and brown two tone trucks

So I did see a body shop and looked at some pint cards and talked to the owner. He said that not every green will work with brown, actually only a few greens will and that a white stripe would look less busy with the white wheels. He told be to focus on the brown for the interior only. Maybe I´ll just do that and paint the black stripe in the trim brown metallic.

Now it is just a matter of picking the right green.... :/
