As it's got a 4.8 swap and is getting a 4L60E transmission behind it, this should be pretty obvious. I just like the idea of making a blatantly not original swap try to look as original as I can make it.

For a 2wd this is a beauty of a truck with an eye watering asking price ($57k) but VIN is not given in the listing and SPID isn't original. Can't seem to get link to post but can locate here: http://www.autotraderclassics.com/ with car ID# 16c35c

Wow it is pretty , they probably priced it based on build cost. It's awful steep but you never know who's shopping for one.

If it is the kind with the plastic cover (like it is laminated) then you may be able to save it.

Gently try some laquer thinner or nail polish remover/acetone and work gradually.
