Rod Doors - Door Panels
Knowing that Rod Doors has gone out of business, does anyone know if these panels can be purchased from someone else? I have a '64 Chevy C-10.
I actually found them after posting this message. If you are looking for these door panels, you can find them at https://ssl.perfora.net/ccerodinteri...dex.shopscript If you haven't seen them - check them out - very cool. Turns out that C&C Enterprises does not carry the Rod Doors anymore. I received an email from them today that they don't carry them anymore. So now I'm back to square one. I'm still looking for these new or used. Last edited by don64; 03-15-2011 at 07:34 PM. Reason: Still Looking for this Item |

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
Looks like they took the opportunity to fill the gap left when Rod Doors closed. Thanks for posting the link

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
I didn't see anything about being a muffler shop Liz. Where did you find that?
I just noticed on their site that it says they are an authorized Rod Doors dealer. I wonder if they are making new products or just selling off old inventory

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
google the addy and phone number. Two listings I found came back listed under muffler shops. However, looking at it again today, I believe its just a mislisting. The addy itself goes back to a residential home. It may be perfectly legit, I do not know.. but the site look and feel makes me second guess it. They list a bunch of shows(for last year), may be better to look in person. Could just be someone working out of their home.
I believe CaptKaos here mentioned something about rod doors products a while ago. I would contact him, as he has been around a long time and is a reputable seller. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=377480 |

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
There are a bunch of products listed as "Rod Doors" that aren't. Looks like an old site. I do know that "Rod Doors" is no longer a business and the owner hauled everything left back to California where he lives, I encouraged him to keep selling the stuff but it is hit and miss. The last door panels I ordered I haven't heard anything about, and it has been a month! I have been calling and emailing for the past 20 days with no response.

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
And as soon as I post this I get an email from him.
BTW, I am on the only "authorized Rod Doors Dealer" other than him now.

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
That's good to know that you are the authorized dealer. Hopefully he can get back into making some of these panels for the trucks.

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
I was lucky enoughht to get a set of these for my 72 GMC. Since I sold my Truck 3 weeks ago, I still have these Door Panels. I don't see any Model Number/Stock Number on the Box, but was wondering if these "Rod Panels" I have would fit a 73-78 Chevy Truck??? If anyone here knows I'd appreciate a hollar. I'm on muy smart phone with no Internet acsess yet, so its. Hard for me to view the site on this small screen. Thanks in advance. Roger.

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
I know this is an old thread but has the Roddoors resurfaced anywhere? I see an occasional set on the for sale side but I always miss them. I am curious on what other options there might be out there?

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
Awesome I didn't know if you still had any or were available. I will pop in there and take a look.
I believe you also indicated that is all you can get. I know years ago there were headliners and pillar covers for the 67-72 I will assume these are not currently being made?

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
Door panels, kick panels, pillar covers, headliner and speakers are all there for the 67-72 in the above link.

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
I would be interested in why the change? Fitment or just ready for a change?

Re: Rod Doors - Door Panels
The door pulls were junk and the fastening system doesn't work. Had to screw my headliner to the roof. Heard a story once. A judge was judging a truck and the rod doors headliner fell on his head. hahahaaa
