69-72 shortbed lower side molding
Im looking for pictures of the bedside where the 69-72 molding attaches and how many clips it requires to mount. Id like to see where it mounts to on the bedside, without the trim attached. I need it to be a shortbed. thanks guys.

This trim here, and in front of the rear tires.

Re: 69-72 shortbed lower side molding
I actually could use this info also. I bought some used molding, but it's usless so I bought a compete repop upper and lower set for my swb. Ideally what Walt and myself could probably use is someone willing to place masking tape along the holes and measure and mark the distances where the holes should be drilled.
I did something similer to this when I measured trim holes and spacing on a stock 67 Chevelle to help out some forum members (different forum)

At the risk of sounding like an ass, the assembly manual has this all laid out including exact measurements. The assembly manual is an invaluable tool to anyone building or restoring one of these old trucks. A digital version is available which is far superior to the paper version, it can be searched, print out a page or two when needed, and more.

Wheres this at? The lmc book is very helpful but im trying to figure out how many clips are needed on the shortbed, I thought someone might have made a trim layout diagram like the did on my camaro.

All the vendors that sell truck parts have the paper version, I got mine form the truck shop. I got the digital version off eBay, and have not used the hard copy since.
