Header bolt length

I have headers to install w/a 5/16 flange and a gasket about 1/16+. I'm looking to use Stage "8" locking bolts. Recommended size is 3/4" bolts. Seems that I will only have 3/8" of thread in the head. Is this correct? How deep is the threaded hole in the head. Engine is stock GM crate. Would like to order the right bolts before I tear things apart. Thank You!
