The easiest way is to sell your truck and buy a 4x4 one.The hard way is a 4x4 swap which can be done on your stock 2wd frame but its a lot of work and time to do it.Look at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=310493

I appreciate your thoughts on the SAS swap, but it will be a daily driver and unless the Geometery is correct bump still with rattle your teeth. So I would prefer to have 4x4 instead of SAS. Thanks Bill

NO I am trying to find out which frame I could mount my 69 shorty to, with the least amount of changes. I know 1973-78 short bed 4x4 frames are the closest in wheel base length being 117 inches. and the 67-72 shorty frames are 115 inches. Was trying to found out if the width is the same. Also if someone has done it what problems the have come across.

I used a 77 frame and took out 1.5 inches (behind the cab). I have never had any problems with bump steer.

I think the easy way to do this will be to find a long 67-72 k10/20 and cut it
