71 frame up resto-mod
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum, been lurking around for a bit. I am currently in the early stages of a 1971 C20 frame up resto-mod. Not building a show truck, but would like it to turn heads as a daily driver. It's getting a fresh 1990 5.7l motor with TBI, a 700r4 trans, and the computer that originally went to both. Also the air conditioning from the donor vehicle as well. (Donor was a 1990 1500 Suburban. Any pointers, advice, do's and don'ts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: 71 frame up resto-mod
Welcome to the Board.
These trucks are fairly straight forward with a simplistic design so you aren't going to run into any major issues that you can't handle and there is a huge after market support for both stock and custom parts. If you run into something you aren't sure about and you want to make sure you are doing it right just ask there are some very knowledgeable guys on here that are more than happy to help. |
