reproduction bedside quality
ive heard a lot of horror stories about the re-pop bed sides , i was going to build an entire short bed for my truck but have been advised by a few people not to. is it true that i will get an ill fitting and wavy bed or are these guys just "anti-offshore" purists

Re: reproduction bedside quality
Probably both. If i was gonna purchase something that expensive, ESPECIALLY for my truck, i'd go pick it up in person from lmc or something. Yea that is a hastle, but you can inspect it, and control how it gets from there place to yours. That is where most my problems have came from.

Give this guy a call, its a couple hours away, you will be much happier with a southern bed.

Re: reproduction bedside quality
Beds in AZ junkyards are $250. Many are mostly in good shape. A few small dings are to be expected, but I have seen a lot of good square bodies go to the crusher. As I always say, best to just buy a whole SW truck and have it shipped to you - rebuild that one and use the good parts off your current truck, sell or scrap whatever is left over.
