Cameo???

Something tells me that is not a stock truck. I thought Cameo's ran from 55-57? These are step side boxes with fiberglass outer fenders. the 58 and newer trucks were a true fleetside box with the inner wheel well fenders. so a four-eyed cameo shouldn't exist.

Oh, and if you live in Canada, Cameo's can not be verified by serial numbers. Not sure about the US trucks.

To answer the first post question, in 55 there wasn't much for markings, the 56-57 were dressier, and had the Cameo badge on the front of the box side as shown above. they had a Trunk style spare tire carrier, they were short boxes, and I'd like to say they all had the Big Back Window.

58 was the only year for 3 beds; last year for the cameo bed and first year for the fleetside bed
the stepside bed was the same from 54 thru the mid 80s with variations of fenders and steps
