My first plan was to use "plumbers strapping" I steal of the OEM brackets, but the screws would be digging right into the end tanks, plus the inlet / outlet tubes are in the way. So I ran the straps vertically instead of horizontally, and used some #8 nuts and locknuts from the inside-out. Gave the middles of the straps a slight twist to catch the edges of the core and keep the straps in place.
