67 GMC suspension questions

I was measuring to fit up new wheels and discovered my rear axle is off by quite a bit. The spring perches are off center on the axle shifting it to one side. Any body got any ideas on this one? Appears that the driveshaft yoke is centered, which doesnt seem like anything GM would have done. I'm going to flip the rear axle so when I cut these perches off for the new ones I can center them up unless this has a reason to be off????? The shock mounts dont seem right either.

Bump for the post work crew. Does anyone have a leaf truck they could post some pics of?

Re: 67 GMC suspension questions

This is my 67 GMC swb 2wd with rear leafs. The rear is a Dana 44. they are spaced evenly from each end. The Dana is the original diff for sure. Not sure if the 12 bolt rear is different but cant see why it would be. 4wd may be different as well.

Re: 67 GMC suspension questions

Thanks for the reply. After closer inspection someone added the perches. Looks like a rowdy stick weld, not factory. I'm going to cut new shock mounts on the CNC anyways so looks like I'll get this axle cleaned up and setup on top the leafs.

On another note does anyone sell leaf/shackle bushing kits?
