WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
Looking for a good condition or better OEM Factory Rear Step Bumper. The kind that came on 67-72 C10 fleetside models.
Can pick up in person, in the Eastern Virginia / Maryland area from tidewater to Baltimore including Eastern shore. Also can pick up in person in the Central eastern Florida area. |

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
I've got a step bumper, not sure if it's OEM.
I'm in Orlando. You can have it for $50

this is a picture of what I'm looking for, doesn't have to be in this good of shape, even a little rusty will be OK.
Hope someone out there has one. Last edited by Ken1972; 10-05-2014 at 07:17 PM. |

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
I'm not sure it isn't a fleetside bumper. What is the measure measurement between the bedsides?

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
I'm looking for one that looks exactly like the picture I posted above attached to the back of the black Cheyenne C10, It doesn't have to be it that good of shape, a little rusty is OK.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post and reply, I appreciate it. |

no problem. Someday someone will want this one. Maybe for a boat anchor as it weighs a ton!

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
I don't know there was a "factory" step bumper. I have only ever seen what is commonly referred to as a sport bumper from the factory. I have seen plenty of bumpers similar to what you are looking for but all were dealer add-on's to my knowledge. If there is such a thing, I'm interested in seeing it. So here is a bump for your thread.

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
Hey Adam,
Yes, I'm assuming the factory installed step bumpers, even though Ive seen many different types. My Glove box decal indicates one was installed at the factory. The decal says: V43 Step Bumper. I also had a 71 C10 that had this same bumper, also installed at the factory and glove box decal also indicated such. A previous owner of my 72 removed the bumper and I'm now trying to locate one for it. I hope that answers your question. Ken |

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
Ken, the bumper on the black Cheyenne is a earlier step bumper, up to 71. 72's had a different looking step bumper, which looks like the stepside bumper above, but wider. Trevor

Re: WTB 67-72 OEM Fleetside Step Bumper
Hi Ken, so I meant to take some pics yesterday of the bumper on my 71 Cheyenne but didn't get around to it. It's still mounted but I won't be using it, I plan on replacing with a chrome one eventually. I'll try to get pics today if possible. Just thought you might be interested, I'm in dallas. Matt

Tim, "Special K", has a pic in this thread on his old blue and white k20 of the "72" step bumper. Trevor
