Accuair redux

I've been running Ridetech's Ride Pro analog system on my truck for the past two years and I'm thinking of switching to Accuair E-Level because the manual switch thing is getting a bit tiresome trying to get the truck level after laying out. The pressures never seem to be the same for a given height, and I frequently notice one side (never the same) will actually increase in height and pressure after setting it to level on a flat surface and driving just a short amount of time.
I was told that Accuair sells a harness to use their E-Level (controller and height sensors) with my existing system, and was wondering if anyone has done this. It's probably not worth the effort to try and combine the two setups to save money, and I could sell the RidePro stuff to fund the Accuair purchase a bit.
Also, I searched the forum and was wondering if anyone has links to any more detailed Accuair ride height sensor installs.

Ridetech has a similar system called ridepro E3 and you can use your existing valves.

Yeah, I was reading about that yesterday. What are you using in Roxy, Jeff?

I'm using the ridepro E3 with big red valves. I've used Ridetech in the past and had good luck.

I like the accuair stuff, but heard of issues with the controller and control boxes

I had accuair on my last truck I built, I used my smc valves instead of the accuair manifold, I loved the system! Before that I had a pressure controlled system an I hated it! Accuair is the only way to go in my opinion

Switch to Accuair.
I don't think RideTech has it completely figured out yet.
You might send a PM to n2trux,... and ask him his opinion on RideTech's E3 system.
I have the E2 controller on my blazer and it sucks.
I will only use Accuair from now on.

I started a thread similar to this a while ago. I really wanted to use ridetech since they are local however everybody seems to love their Accuair system.

Jim you can run the Accuair E-level with the RidePro valves. Accuair does make a harness that adapts. I think it would be worth saving the money and going that route. The Accuair manifold is very nice, but the RidePro you already have will do the job, and do the job well.

Let us know if you need any help rounding up the parts.

Keith, it's funny you should mention n2trux as I just read his E3 install from 2010 0r 2011.

Nate, I may go that route if it's not going to be tempermental being "pieced together". I'd rather not replace everything if it's not necessary. I'll give you a call; there were a few minor things I needed from you guys anyway.

I think accuair "recommends" using a 3/8" valve and line "for it to function properly." If anyone has used any other sizes id like to know!

Ahh, I'm running 1/4" hose. If I'm going to swap that out, too, it looks like I'll just get the whole E-Level setup and be done with it.

I would stick with the 1/4" hose myself.

Accuair designed it with 3/8 but we have a handful of customers running 1/4" with good results.

However, if you decide to do a whole system swap, then you should be able to recoup some funds by selling your current system.
