paint - silver w/black roof
Does anyone have a silver burb with a black roof? Can you post a pic? I am considering it as a paint scheme. Has anyone painted a roof black? I don't actually recall seeing much black on 67-72 burbs (I realize black is not an OE color).

Sure you're from the East? You have the taste of the "Raider Nation"....... (-: Personally I prefer white roofs and in my neck of the woods it gets HOT so black would really heat the beast.

It's an interesting paint combo, but that black roof would bake you inside with the sun light hitting it. These old Suburbans don't cool to well on the inside.

I've never seen one, but I think it could look sweet. Could always get someone to digitally paint a burb to see if you like it. OH, and I'm in AZ with an ALL BLACK burb. I haven't melted yet.
