Ride height valve bleeding

Does anybody know when GM started using the ride height valve in our trucks? Anyone know how to bleed the darn thing?

Gchemist, are you talking about a load sensing brake proportioning valve? if so, jack up the rear end from the point where the proportioning valve connecting lever attaches to the rear end so the valve will feel a full load and open up. That, or disconnect the lever and push it by hand to gain the same result.

Yea, them rookies aways think of something else.

Shoot, you shoulda said that to begin with...I didn't think of that because I thought you were talking about your truck...didn't they only use those load proportioning valves on 3/4 tons and Longbed's??
