Re: speedway wiring harness
I was going to use an EZ harness had it in hand. But I wanted more circuits and found the speedway product. Just comparing those two the Speedway product is superior, instructions were great for what I needed. Plus the Speedway kit came with a new light switch and dimmer switch. I think it could have come with a couple extra connectors in case of mess up. The leads to the taillights where a little short but nothing that would deter me from buying. Very easy to install where I wanted it.

Re: speedway wiring harness
I used speedways harness on my 52.
It's a nice harness kit. You get switches and plugs. All wires are labeled. I've used Painless' and this harness was just as good for 1/3 the $$ Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: speedway wiring harness
I just had a couple of my high school students install a speedway 21 circuit kit in my truck and it worked out well, First thing I did was laminate the instructions I have seen what kids cab do to a piece of paper in the shop. We figured out were the fuse block would fit and took it from there. I had my truck wired and running with a harness from a 89 cavalier I decided to use the speedway harness after I had to try to track down a wire.

Re: speedway wiring harness
I just received my speedway 12 circuit economy harness in the mail and it looks great! The wires are labeled, color coded, detailed instructions, most of it even has pre wired terminal ends. Basically plug and play setup....and for $145......Fisherman approved!

Re: speedway wiring harness
Speedway buys their harnesses from EZ Wiring. I have installed both and can attest that they are virtually identical. They are great harnesses with one complaint: if you mount the fuse box anywhere other than under dash by the driver's left knew some of the dash wires will be too short, ie turn signal, brake light switch, etc.
