I converted to a serpentine belt system and pulled the 700r4. Next weekend I will be installing a turbo 400.

I took out an old hideous back slider, put a full glass back in and replaced the "green-ish" chrome locking strips with a new black ones. Took the big dumbo mirrors off and replaced them with little sport mirrors, not to mention I did some really crappy paint & bodywork on filling the old holes.

Unplugged the glow controller on the 87 diesel, seems to fix my wavering voltage problem. Drove it around the block. Now if only I could get it to run cold as well as it runs hot.
Tried to start the '77, dead battery, battery out and on charger. Cleaned the new head for my tractor, undercoated the new Equinox, moved the wood out of the barn bay that I loan to the wife for the summer, prepatory to stuffing it full of trucks.

I put a new coil in my truck. I'm hoping that solves an intermittent stalling issue that I have been battling. I also put a new battery and new air cleaner in her. I would have taken pics if I knew "what did you get done" was back.

Re: What did you get done week of 10/12/14 ( back by popular demand)
I tore down the front axle in the K30 I bought 6 months ago to try and get it ready for winter. Somebody stuffed an 8 lug 10 bolt under it at some point in it's life. It's getting all new ball joints, bearings, seals, u-joints, and brake rotors/pads/calipers. Unfortunately after tearing it down I discovered the spindles are badly scored from the bearings spinning on them and someone beating on them with a hammer, and the outer stub axle on the passenger side is trash from the outer axle bearing in the spindle seizing up. I have used replacement spindles and an axle on the way, the "budget" aspect of this build is quickly turning south but at least it will be fixed correctly.

I got all the fallen leaves off the cowl of my K30 (it was buried in leaves from sitting most the week), set the timing and adjusted the carb and started trying to figure out the wiring from the heater fan switch to the blower motor. A previous owner hacked the wiring something awful.
