2000 Chevy 2500 crew aftermarket parts help!!!!

Hey I'm new here and I just got a 2000 k2500 crew cab. I the parts I can find for this year model says 99-00. My question is what other parts may or will fit. I know the older body 4 door is rare and that's why I love it. I'm really wanting to get some nerf bars for it( the nfab 6 step bars). They said I need the ones for the 98-01 truck. Well in the 2500 that's 3 different body styles. Is the body on my truck same as the 88-98 crew cabs just I have the 7.4 vortec. They look really close but can't find one to compare. Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You have a GMT 400 truck that ran from '88 to '00. Your 2500 Crew Cab Short Bed was only made a few years before production ended.

If want Nerf's just for the Cab....Any '92-'00 Crew Cab will work.

If you want Nerf's for step-up into the Bed.....Make Sure they are for YOUR Wheelbase.

Thanks that's what I needed to know. The bars he ordered only went up to 98 but he said it was the same body. A crew cab with 6.5 foot bed so wheel base should be correct. The first set I got were the correct length just wouldn't line up with body. Think they were for 01 but like I said he ordered them the guy told him 98-01. Any way there was a 3 week lead time so I hope they are correct when they arrive. Then I can start on ranch hand that was given to me. It's for a 98-02 1500 but everything looks like it will line up just have to change mounts.

A crew cab short bed was only available 99-00 in GMT400, and it did not exist before 1998.

Well that will suck but this is the part they ordered so we will just have to wait and see.
