Finally getting professional artwork and logo done for my company AZPartsLocators

Many of you know that I own AZPartsLocators. Up until recently I hadn't fully devoted the time to making the company what it should be. Business has really taken off so I figured it was time to take the step and put a little money into the company. I have a good friend named Jimmy Smith that is a well known artist for automotive design. He has done many renditions/logo designs for The Rodder's Journal , So Cal Speed Shop, Street Rodder Magazine, Rod and Custom, and Classic Trucks among others. I have always admired his work so I knew he was the guy to go with. I am going to be doing T shirts and business cards with his artwork. I had him design the company logo as well as do a design of my truck for the back of the shirts. He has the logo completely done and has sketches done of the truck. Here is what I am going with. I am really excited about the way it is coming out. I had always wanted him to do artwork for me but my company wasn't doing well enough that I could spend the money.

The truck will have a GMC grille as he forgot that is what my truck had. He also hadn't added an S to my company logo in the sketch. In the background is a junkyard stacked up with squarebody trucks.

Re: Finally getting professional artwork and logo done for my company AZPartsLocators

Thanks guys! It has been a long time coming! It has currently been over 2 months since I first contacted him to do this. He is just swamped with work. I am kind of on a time crunch as I need to get business cards and t-shirts done before the Goodguys show in November. It seems like everyone is behind schedule!

Re: Finally getting professional artwork and logo done for my company AZPartsLocators

The logo will be on the truck once it is painted. Eyegore, I haven't made it to any of the shows with the truck but it is almost at all of the parts swap meets. Right now it is multicolored. All of the body work is done on the bed and cab, I have NOS fenders. It is a 77 crew cab short bed with a Cummins diesel.

I like the design Jeff. My next order will include a T-Shirt, right? Yes, I'll include payment! I'll need a L.

Re: Finally getting professional artwork and logo done for my company AZPartsLocators

Jonboy, thanks! I am really pleased with it. To be honest with you I was starting to have my doubts with the artist as it took so long for him to do and took 3 times to get the color right. In the end he really came through!
