met up with a few Saturday

Met up late last night with Blazerman, Sakohunter, and Toomuchstuff.
Sakohunter and Toomuchstuff left St. Joseph about 9:45 headed home. Long trip. 800 miles just on the return. Hope it was a safe one.
Glad to have met everyone.

Kevin [nu2-72] was nice enough to make a late night trip over to help us load up a dana 60 front [HEAVY]. Its allways fun talking trucks with fellow board members in person, hope Bruce and Eric had a safe trip back.

nappy time!

Hey guys,
Made it back to my place about 3. Had to stop about 4:30 this am for a quick nap. stopped at class of 69,s place on the way to drop off some parts. Got VERY windy about 2 am, pushed the van and trailer around pretty good. Got to the cities and met with -25 windchills. Glad we had no problems. Nice to meet all of you! (teeitup, blazerman, nu2-72, and class of 69) Take care.

Eric it was GREAT to meet you!!!! You met some SUPER guys on your trip down (excluding me) but Rob, Kevin, Mitch are great to talk to and nice too!!! Those three and Bruce have became GREAT friends of mine!!! Randy

dana 60

You should have seen the 2 of us unload it ...MANUALLY. I think bruce wanted to get it out of there before his wife saw it. The extra weight just made the ride smoother!

You could have stopped by my place. To get from class of 69's to points north (Grand Rapids, etc.) you go right by me.

Regarding the dana 60 - Don't forget the 48 hour rule. If you have it for longer than 48 hours before she sees it you can simply reply, "That old Dana 60?!? I've had that thing for a long time."

It would have been fun to meet another board member, but we were kinda "zombies" at that point. 1600 miles in a day and a half. We will try to catch you on the next round!!!

Man I'm glad you wrote that I've been wondering how to tell my wife I got a 396 under the work bench she don't know about.

as always

I once heard it said that there were no such things as strangers, just friends you have'nt met yet! How true with the members of this board. I really appreciate Kevin coming over to blazermans to help load that PIG of a dana into my wifes parts hauler (good one about the squating and chevy parts kev). I had my doubts at first about making it home in one piece. The wife never did see the axle. And it looks as if i might be making this trip again real soon. Is eric up for another roadtrip? Well have to stop in Lindstrom on the way back though. And as far as Randy is concerned. How do i haul everything home in one trailer when he hauls in ten more? Thanks again to all i dealt with on the trip. I am still laughing about that "chrome" shifter boot ring of blazermans! (inside joke)
