Talking New member from ND, 71 and 92 Chevy trucks

Hey all from eastern North Dakota, long time lurker, first time poster. Have had an account here for almost a year, and have pulled lots of good info from the forums. Here are my trucks and one of my older cars.

1971 C-20 Custom Deluxe, been in the family since the late '70s, was given to me by my grandpa about a year and a half ago, had to drag it out of the trees. I know I have a few pics of it fresh off of the farm but they're on my old phone. Factory 402 truck, 350 two barrel was swapped in back in the early '80s, clean motor inside, and I'm not really a big block guy anyway. TH400, dana rear with 3.54 gears, makes it nice to drive down the road. I chopped a coil off of the front big block springs and added some extensions to the leaf spring shackles to drop it closer to a 1/2 ton height, then bought some 16" steelies from an early '80s F250 with some lower profile rubber. Located a beat up set of hub caps locally, still looking for some more odds and ends to complete the "patina but complete" look. 2009+ F150 lower valance, found the bug deflector brand new at a local goodwill store, hides a pretty decent dent on the front edge of the hood. Rattle can treatment on the grille hides the hole knocked through it, overall the truck has been done on the cheap.

1992 K1500 Silverado, bought in 2007 from the same grandpa that gave me the 71. I'm the second owner, only about 94k miles on it. Have replaced exhaust from engine back, headers, mandrel bent 3" single outlet with turbo muffler, CD player with sub under rear seat, tonneau, remote start, outside temp - compass auto dim mirror, love this body style truck, 67-72 and 88-98 are probably two of the best generations. Looking forward to actually contributing a little instead of just lurking on a daily basis.
