Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
I love this truck. Can't wait for it to be done.
Are you rubbing much at ride height with that 5.25" BS and narrowed control arms? |

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
the arms have helped out so much on the turning radius at ride height. I want my ride height to be around 6" so I think I will buy a set of modular just in case. I talked to porterbuilt and dave told me that with a 5.25 backspacing rim, narrowed arms, and a modular that my 6" ride height wouldn't be a problem.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Did you get finished with this truck? It looks great and I was just wondering if you are still working on it.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
I "finished" it but i bought a 71 k20 and got distracted and it went on the backburner. I put a sniper efi kit on it, changed the wheels and have been driving it off and on. The truck wants another gear or overdrive so i think a LS swap and 4l60e will be in order soon.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Good to hear, still looks great, nice job. If you drive them much at all the overdrive helps a lot.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Both those trucks are great. It’s cool to see the polar opposite ride heights in one pic.
