Parts in Western Canada

First- thanks to all who have generously answered my posts. This forum is terrific!

My question is, where is the best place to order parts from, being that I'm in central British Columbia, about 7 hours north of Vancouver. I don't want to order out of the US and have to deal with duty, customs, etc.
I have searched the web, but that doesn't indicate the level of service or quality of parts.
Thanks!

I agree, Scotts in Penhold. I've from him online and been to the store. His prices are good and he doesn't gouge you on shipping charges.

Re: Parts in Western Canada

There is a Place in BC but he can be a little pricey on some things, dont let the name fool you. The Old Car Center is the name and address is 19909 92A avenue Langley BC V1M-3B6
PH# 604-888-4412. I have been to Scott's Super trucks personally about 20 times seeing how he is 1/2 hr from my place. Scott is really good and Fair in his prices and has a small wrecking yard out back with about 50 C10's there for parts. and as mentioned if he doesnt have it in stock it doesnt take long to get it. He also has a nice show room too.
Darren.

Agree with everybody on Scott's Super Trucks. I got some decent OEM SS hubcaps an fender badges for my 72 GMC the last time I was there.

Re: Parts in Western Canada

KMS Tools sells car old car parts and I've been told their Coquitlam store also has used parts for our trucks.

I've never bought from them but car guys I know seem to like them.

Smile Re: Parts in Western Canada

I've always recommended Bill Peeters of 'Bills Truck Shop' in Courtice (Oshawa), Ontario.
Really nice, fair guy and, again.....I can't emphasize this enough...he knows about what he is selling which is something I have NEVER found with KMS tools who are mostly a forwarding operation.
OR...if there is something nothing too serious or big....I might be able to help you out!
All Good
