Shipping Companies

Anyone have any personal recommendations on shipping companies? My Dad is thinking about picking up a 65' SWB Stepside next month back in Louisiana. We would be looking at having that truck, along with my 73', shipped back to Virginia. I addition to these, we may be looking to add another rolling 65'-66' short bed frame to the load.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Shipping Companies

Reliable is suppose to be pretty good for that. A few of the muscle car guys that I know would use this company. http://www.trulyvintagetrailers.city...tweb_page.html

Re: Shipping Companies

Be careful out there I do shipping but I don't go south of VA usually and Louisiana is way too far for me. Reliable offers enclosed shipping and is expensive kinda. If you go the UShip route be careful they have guys on there like Montway who are brokers and some of their drivers are company drivers others are contractors. They boast the best record on UShip but they have a lot of negative /neutral feedback. They also pick up a bunch of cars take em to a lot then they wait for several cars going to one area to load a trailer up. Cars have been left in unsecured lots etc. also some guys don't have good equipment that is not maintained. I ship one car at a time on an open trailer if I stay over with the car I try to do it so I stay at my house with a locked up yard , my dogs guarding the place and I can see the truck/trailer from my bedroom window.
