Re: Just a couple pics of my junk

LoL! This month makes right at 2 years since I took the truck down for the LS swap. I've went through 2 car show/cruise-in seasons since then... I've never opened the hood on it an event unless I was asked by someone to see what was under it... and then I closed it when they were done looking.

I guess most people would want to show it off... and part of me does... I'm just not an "open hood" kinda guy... The vehicles lines don't "flow" with the hood up... not to mention I don't have to deal with the "experts" telling me what I did wrong on my build...

I know what you're saying. The lines of these trucks are incredible. I have mixed feelings about opening the hood. I took a lot of time doing the LS conversion on my truck, so it's nice when people appreciate the effort. One of the best compliments I get is that "It looks like it came that way from the factory." I'm not sure if people would even look at my truck if I left the hood down....

Re: Just a couple pics of my junk

was searching my posts (trying to find something I posted back... who knows when) and I came up on this thread...

Since a 59 was mentioned... yes... I have one... no, I didn't have to sell a truck to buy it.
