Thinking about grabbing this 68 burb...

I am hoping to go look at it this weekend, it is about a 3 hr ride away from me. I am trying to get more and better pictures from the current owner. Looks like whoever did it last went a little crazy with the diamond plate. What do you guys think??

Pictures from 20' in the rain... Anythings possible.
All one can tell is that the body looks straight, and it is a K10 with roller wheels.

When you go to check it out, make sure it is as complete as possible...
Finding parts are a pain, and the costs can add up quick.

No mention of the engine and drive train, so anythings possible there until you actually see it.

The price is fair if the body is as nice as in the pictures, and the drive train is all there.

Good luck!
Keep us up to date on what you discover when you see it in person.

What's going on on the back corners? Hard to tell in pics, but both sides look jacked.

Take a magnet to check for thick areas of filler, and check for rust in all of the doors and along the lower areas of the body.

Other than that, well, I have a soft spot for all suburbans.

Thanks for the tips guys. I spoke to him and he said it has a small block chevy, not sure if original, and a 4 speed stick. I am guessing it is an SM465. I am waiting on some more info from him, and better pictures of the rear corners. Thanks again!

Yeah, Id check the rockers hard too. In my experience with landcruisers and broncos, when they cover it with diamond plate its usually filled with bondo behind the plate.

But if it runs/ not covered in rust I say go for it. A 4x4 that runs for that price isnt bad I think.
